Doing what we love beyond graduation

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I have been off this website for ages now, pursuing after graduation a cause I believed in so much and as a matter of fact still do believe in.

It's good to be back though and this time round, I hope to be more active on the network.

Have we all ever considered why we do the things we do? Has anyone of us thought of every single action they intend to take before they do within a period of 24 hours-that's a day. Let's cut ourselves some slack; fine, have any of us sat down and reviewed a 24-hour period that we have experienced, action by action, deed by deed.

If you ever have done so, then, congratulations! Not many of us are able to be so meticulous to do either of those two.

Hmmmmm..... Why those two queer interrelated questions above? Isn't that what you are thinking right now?

Well, I googled my own name (one of my crazy perks!)a couple of minutes ago and there I saw Sophia Kokor, that is my full name and the caption beyond graduation. Which sort of set me wondering (of course not that I have been inactive for heaven knows how long and so tigweb??? wasn't..... Guess you can add the rest), however, tigweb, got me in the right direction, so I clicked and read the introduction.

This of course set me wondering further: am I on the track that I had always planned on being on beyond graduation? Am I doing what I really love or am I just 'living' and letting life deal with me. Well, no plan is rigid and cast in iron, so things obviously and people should be amenable to change!!!

For people like you and I though (since you are within this community I believe you 'desire to be the change that you seek'), things aren't that simple, by some mechanism or supernatural whatever (I chose to believe God and not mere happenstance) we were born or have become conscious of the myriad issues that confront our times, we have also in our subconscious and our conscious all the solutions and plans to straighten things out. We have even identified how we are going to get these things done. COme to think of it, doing one of the two things thinking before or reviewing our actions could/ in fact does help us to keep our ULTIMATES in mind.

Beyond graduation, it is so easy to be dragged under by the every day jostles that the world gives. So, we confront the 'real world', we get a few or many rude shocks. So, what!!!

The reality is man's creation, for the kind of society and world that you and I dream of, which we know is possible; YOU and I need to reinvent the reality.

After graduation, keep the torch, when strong winds blow, cover it and keep it secure, just make sure you never let it die!!!

May I remind us all: WE ARE THE SOLUTION NOT THE PROBLEM and WE ARE THE CHANGE WE DESIRE TO SEE.

Salut
